Bead Head Pheasant Tail Nymph
Unquestionably the bead head pheasant tail nymph is the most popular nymph pattern in Poland, and not only. Tied in a lot of variations: different colors of collars or beads, with or without hackle, with additional backs...
Its popularity owes its effectiveness in many fisheries throughout the entire season, so you should have it in many sizes and types.
In bigger sizes of the bead head pheasant tail nymph can be used the lead wire, but personally if I do not need it, I do not use it. Such nymphs looks more natural, are slimmer and in my opinion in clean water of river or straem are more effective.
