In my opinion this is the easiest nymph pattern for begginer fly tyer. Not looks like a perfect modern nymph, but very effective for brown trout in rivers in South of Poland.
Personally, I have a great personal sentiment for this fly because it was one of the first nymphs which I have tied myself, and on which I caught hundreds of Vistula's trout.
It is worth to have a few sizes of this Hare nymph pattern, from bigger and heavier in hooks no.6-8, for smaller and lighter in hooks 12-16.
